Braking 270mm Caliper Bracket POW02 Review

This bracket doesn't work for me. It moves the caliper too far out, and the pad hangs past the rotor 4 to 5 mm. I used both Braking and EBC pads with the same result. I contacting Braking directly, and their response was the pow02 bracket only works with OE pads. Apparently that is what the OEM indication means on the list of bikes this bracket fits, not OEM caliper (and its definitely not the OEM caliper bracket). I have a hard time believing that there is that much difference between the stock pads and aftermarket pads, but I don't have a set of OE pads for comparison (and neither does my local dealer). Braking suggested their pow13 bracket for the Braking pads I'm using (I'd assume it'd work for the EBC pads as well, since there is only minor differences between them).

Apparently there was bit lost in translation. I've had further communications with a Braking rep that better understood English. The Verdict: Braking does not make an adapter bracket for the DRZ400SM, unless you want to upgrade to their CALIPER. Either way the POW02 bracket does not work on the SM. I did get the POW13 bracket, and it does work acceptably.
