I wanted to switch to a high performance, renewable filter. I didn't want an oiled filter, as they can create problems with the MAF sensor. I've had K&N, but I wanted to try Airraid.

I was impressed with the quality of the filter, much heavier than the last K&N I owned. This model number also fits the Cadillac CTS V (first gen). A bit of a change in throttle response, but you're not getting a huge deal of performance change from just a filter. It was time to change the filter and I wanted one that will last the life of the car. Time will tell how it performs, but initial impressions are good.
