These micrometers work just fine. My only problems with them are: (1)They need to be calibrated quite often and; (2)The 1"-2" mic and the 2"-3" mic go past the 1 and 2" marks. Of course you can measure down that far with them, but it can make it confusing when it comes to calibrating them. Other than that, I love the product. I am definitely going to purchase the metric set as soon as I get the money.
