With a 3 inch diameter it can be mounted in a variety of locations and the universal design can be used to cool a wide variety of components. This one is perfect for fuel and power steering applications but can also be used to cool engine oil and transmission fluid in light duty applications. I ordered this expecting it to be a 16" dual pass cooler (per the listing). I got a 14.5". Not a big deal really. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars.
