Performance Friction 0856.20 Carbon Metallic Brake Pads Review

I bought these Performance Friction pads for a 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited due to a recommendation. I did have to go to the manufactures web site to find the correct pad number. It would be helpful for Amazon to have a direct link to their web site.

As far as the pads, they were loose in their box and all on one side when I opened it, which the box could have used more padding to better hold them in place. The pads fit perfectly and are all the exact same except two have wear indicators (one for the left wheel and one for the right wheel). My only question about the install was if the wear indicator went on the front side or rear side of each wheel? It would have been nice if they had indicated for those of us that are not certified mechanics, as the stock pads I replaced did not have wear indicators. From a google search I believe the rear side, which is where I put them.

The pads are nice and quiet and the brake pedal has a solid feel to it. It definitely feels better then they use to. By Performance Friction's reputation they should be better then stock pads but time will tell. The Amazon price was definitely good.
