Xl is a little big but lg would have been a little snug, no fault of company. Has a little weight and feels sturdy. The spine protector seems small , but I'm used to the ones in my icon jacket and that ballistic spine protector. I wouldn't mind having same vest but with sleeves. Compared to icon I would say its pretty close in quality and does same job. Price wise I would say this is better and would recommend this product
